Folklore to Forensic Science
Speaker – Christopher Goddard BSc (Hons) CEng MIET MITAI MCSFS
Chris is a retired police officer having served for 28 years. For 22 of those years his role was as a forensic collision investigator. He is now a private collision consultant.
Before joining the Police he was an Engineering Designer for an automotive braking systems supplier.
He is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Physics and an extensive engineering and scientific background. He regularly lectures in Forensic Science and Physics at Universities and colleges.
He has been researching instrument clusters in collisions for the last 10 years and authored SAE technical papers and presented at conferences (such as WREX2016, WREX2023 and SAE WCX 2017) in this subject.
He is also a Technical Ambassador with the Bloodhound Supersonic Car Project which aims to break the land speed record.
