For Affiliates
Affiliate membership is open to all. It is for those who simply have an interest in forensics, but may also be used as the first rung on the ladder to professional-level membership. Everyone who wishes to become an Associate or Member must first join as an Affiliate and then apply to upgrade.
Being an Affiliate
Affiliate membership is open to all who have an interest in forensic science. Those at Affiliate level can apply to upgrade to the professional-level membership categories of Associate (ACSFS) or Member (MCSFS).
Affiliate member are subject to the Society’s Code of Conduct. They enjoy a number of benefits, as below,. but are do not qualify to vote at the Society AGM or sit on Council.
Benefits of Affiliate membership
As well as those benefits listed left, Affiliates have access to a variety of forensic content, including the last 40 issues of Science and Justice journal, and a number of online resources.
The current subscription rate for Affiliate membership is £50 per year.
