Quality Management (GQMS)
As the Professional Body, The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences is dedicated to supporting all of its members in their Quality Management journey.
Supporting Our Members
With this in mind we have developed a Generic Quality Management systems for accreditation against both ISO17020 (GQMS20) and ISO17025 (GQMS25). These quality management systems could be utilised by any forensic unit seeking accreditation against these standards – the system is designed to also be compliant with ILAC G19 and the FSRs CoPC (v4).
The CSFS GQMS will be of particular interest to Small and Medium Sized Companies and Micro businesses who find the idea of accreditation daunting and feel that they lack the resources to dedicate to writing a full management system from scratch for themselves.
Gaining Accreditation
You can subscribe to access the system, via the Society’s trading arm ForSciTE, on a purpose built SharePoint based platform and work with us and our team of quality specialists to support you as you begin to implement the system and work towards gaining accreditation.
