Eligibility

Your programme may be eligible for Educational Accreditation, Educational Recognition, Conditional Educational Accreditation (CEA) or International Educational Certification (IEC) if it contains a significant amount of forensic science content and is delivered by a recognised Higher Education Institution.

Before applying, all institutions must meet three key prerequisites:

✅ Programme delivery in English
The programme must be taught in English, and all supporting documentation must be provided in English.

✅ Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
Your institution must demonstrate policies and practices that align with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion expectations of The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences.

✅ University Quality Lead (UQL)
Each institution must nominate a University Quality Lead (UQL) who will act as the primary contact with the Society. The UQL must hold Professional Membership of The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences before an award can be granted.
