Biometrics and Forensics Ethics Group – Call for new members

 

The Biometrics and Forensics Ethics Group (BFEG), a Home Office-sponsored non-departmental public body that provides Home Office ministers with independent ethical advice on matters relating to biometrics, forensics, and large and complex data sets (including systems which utilise artificial intelligence and machine learning).

Members of the BFEG are appointed on behalf of the Home Secretary and are regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments. The BFEG are currently undertaking a public appointment recruitment campaign to appoint six new members, with experience in a number of disciplines.
