Council
The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences is overseen by a committee of Trustees, known as Council. They are led by the President in conjunction with the Immediate Past President or President Elect (next President).
Members of the CSFS Council are Trustees and subject to the responsibilities outlined by CC3 The Essential Trustee: what you need to know. Full details of your duties and responsibilities as a Trustee can be found here.
All those who sit on Council must be professional level members of the Society (ACSFS, MCSFS, FCSFS). Council members will typically be engaged in many activities, such as chairing or sitting on committees, convening conferences, developing policy. The Council members all work as a close whole to ensure the aims, values and vision of the Society are met.
