Bill Platts
Bill is the Director of Forensic Video Services – a company comprising six personnel, all from diverse backgrounds such as the military, the Police and industry.
He hase been involved in Imagery Analysis since 1971 and was a lecturer at the Joint School of Photographic Interpretation where he taught imagery analysis, image processing, video skills, and infra-red systems. He lectured on the specialist Imagery Interpretation Course (IIC) where police SOCO’s were taught basic analysis skills and on the Soft Copy (Digital) Imagery Analysis course.
Bill has given testimony in many courts across the country including The Central Criminal Court, The Royal Courts of Justice and Irish Courts. He has written reports for BBC Panorama, appeared in ITV news in relation to the Madeline McCann case, been interviewed by The Telegraph and filmed for Channel 4 ‘Caught on Camera’.
