The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences held the fifth Education & Industry Liaison Forum at the Home Office on 19th December 2014.
The event focused on the launch of the Pre-Assessment of Competence (PEAC) scheme, which is a certified assessment aimed at those looking for employment across the sector from crime scene to court. This assessment has the backing of employers and will specifically test the skills they are looking for when recruiting.
The aim of the forum was to encourage Educators to enrol to become assessment centres and encourage their students to take the assessment by demonstrating how and why employers are so keen to back it.
