The Society offers awards and competitions on an annual basis and encourages all members to consider participating in these activities. In all instances applications will not be accepted on outdated paperwork.
The Society wishes to recognise the achievement of the most meritorious student in an accredited undergraduate degree programme or any other postgraduate degree programme in forensic science or related topic.
The Joint Presidents' Award is awarded to a member of the CAC (California Association of Criminalists) or CSFS (Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences) with less than 6 years' professional experience, who can demonstrate a significant contribution to the Criminal Justice system.
Awarded annually to the best article published in the Society’s CSEye magazine preceding year.
This award is offered to an innovative project in the area of forensic identification with high potential to make an impact in the field. The prize will be awarded to the most outstanding piece of original and previously unpublished work by anyone fulfilling the criteria outlined that advances any part of our understanding of forensic identification.

This award will be made to individuals or organisations that have made an outstanding contribution for the good of the Profession. This award will be made on an infrequent basis, but could be awarded annually if suitable candidates are submitted.
